I have been teaching general EFL classes such as speaking, reading, listening and writing. In my classes, I always consider the needs of my students. I see to it that before they leave the class, there is no confusion or doubt in their minds. Learning is fun, but I am aware that it could also be sometimes difficult, so I often tell my students that they are capable and smart. I also believe that in the class, it’s a give-and-take relationship, so I really encourage my learners to interact actively and not to hesitate to express their ideas and opinions.

Hi! My name’s Fernan. I have been working for Pines International Academy for almost 4 years. My experience includes teaching speaking, writing, listening, and reading classes to EFL students of varied ages, either in an online or face-to-face setting.

I know that learning a language is quite a task for many, so I see to it that I add some fun and creativity into the lesson so that my student can learn and enjoy at the same time. I also think that learning should be meaningful enough so that students can remember what they have learned and be able to put them into practice. That is why I do my best to make my classes as interactive as possible, and I involve students in activities that they could relate to. Hello, I’m April. I have a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and I majored in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health. I teach English to kids and adults, and we do reading, grammar, discussion as well as test modules like TOEIC Speaking and OPIC.

It’s important for me that my students learn something and have fun at the same time, so I get them involved in class as much as possible. I make use of teaching methods that will suit the needs of my students and meet the goals of the class. Moreover, I try to create a friendly and appropriate environment for learning.

Because I teach, I also have to continue learning and improving myself. I still study grammar and I try to find the best ways to teach a lesson. Sometimes I watch videos that help me understand the culture, history and practices of the countries where my students are from. By doing so and by keeping myself updated on some of the things that are happening in those countries, I am able to connect with my students better and so we can talk about things that are important to them or discuss some relevant issues.

I’m Kresyl Ateneo Salinbuat. I was born and raised in the Philippines.

I have a Bachelor of Education degree in General Science. I’m passionate about traveling, culture, sports, arts, and music. I also like talking to people about their experiences, hobbies, and lifestyles.

Because my interests have always been traveling and being exposed to the outside world, who would’ve thought that I’d end up becoming a teacher? But I love it! I teach both online and offline classes, and my students are from different age groups with ability levels ranging from absolute beginners to advanced.

I try to keep my classes interactive, fun, and engaging. I always focus on the students’ specific needs, and I am excellent at modifying my lessons to fit their different cultural backgrounds and individual learning styles.
